On July 14, our very own Gerry Buccini, was honored with a 2011 Community Recognition Award in Arts & Culture. This is the first year that the City of St. Albert recognized & celebrated outstanding achievements by St. Albert Residents in the areas of Arts & Culture, Citizenship, Professional Achievement, Sport Excellence & Business. The sculptures honouring these recipients are on the northwest corner of Sir Winston Churchill Avenue & Perron Street.
